Mommy Monday: Baby Technology

Here are two tips for every parent-to-be that you may never read in any baby book.

1. Save an old cell phone AND CHARGER.

2. Save an old remote or one that no longer works, removing the batteries.

These should not only keep your baby/tot content when you're waiting in line at the grocery store and they want OUT, but will also be great non-food incentives when you're trying to get them to crawl/walk.

The remote is more for when you are watching TV and baby wants to be just like you ... but you want to watch one channel for more than 5 seconds at a time and would prefer the volume at one level.

You could try buying the baby toy-versions of this things, but I can almost GUARANTEE you that they will know they are not the same, even at 6 months old (or earlier). In fact, before you go out and buy them, let me know and I can give you ours. :)
