Just as an update, I did get my free (technically $.19 w/tax) bottle of Rimmel nail polish from Walgreens and mailed in for my rebate for a free ream of paper yesterday.
If you participate in mail-in rebates, I've started keeping track of them by tacking the receipt with the info (contact url/phone #, date mailed, # of days given, and $ expected) to the bulletin board by our fridge. This way, I'm not like ... hey, did I ever get that money? And if someone doesn't send me money, I know not to do a rebate with them again. It takes an extra minute to jot the info down and tack it up, but it gives me a little more peace of mind.
